Menstrual Hygiene is More Than Clean

—It’s a Right

Let’s talk about something that shouldn’t be taboo anymore: menstrual hygiene. May 28th is Menstrual Hygiene Day, and it’s not just about clean period products—it’s about equity, dignity, and access.

Period stigma and lack of resources are still real issues, even in 2025. Across the world, and even in some of our own communities, menstruators are missing school, skipping work, or making unsafe choices because they can’t afford or access the basics. That’s unacceptable.

Menstrual hygiene isn’t a luxury—it’s a human right. And part of good hygiene is education. That’s why tracking your cycle is so powerful. When you know your patterns and can anticipate your needs, you’re not just more comfortable—you’re more confident.

The Agenda. App gives you a simple way to stay on top of your cycle, notice symptoms, and understand what your body’s trying to tell you. Pair it with tools like Your Cycle Circle and you’ve got a full-on empowerment combo—because when we teach others to honor their cycles, the shame disappears.

So this Menstrual Hygiene Day, do something small that makes a big impact. Donate to a local period poverty organization. One of our FAVES is Helping Women Period.

Talk to your kids. Start tracking. Keep learning. Because period health is world health.
