“I wanted to pop in after all this time and introduce myself! I am a Body Confidence and Sexual Empowerment Coach and I can’t believe the difference paying attention to my cycle has made in my business.
I bought the paper agenda planner over a year ago with every intention of tracking because it made so much sense! But it wasn’t until the (app) that I actually started paying attention.
The app makes so much sense for someone who doesn’t keep a paper planner.
Some of the things that have shifted for me and my business since I started following The Agenda.
- I am finding deeper levels of self-love because instead of fighting how I am feeling, I understand it is not me, it is just hormones and I can best support myself with my self-care techniques.
- I recognize that my energy is highest during ovulation and plan any really important events during that time. I tested this when I booked a brand shoot with the fabulous Julia Mae Hunt because I really wanted my true self to shine through. Seriously, when reviewing the photos I cried because I couldn’t believe how beautiful I actually am.
- When I feel like the world is ending and ask myself why I ever thought I could be a coach or how the hell did I think I could be a business owner, I am reminded that I am in my Luteal phase and the doubt that can come with it. And instead of judging myself, I check my app to see what things I can do that align more with where my energy is that day.
- I am actually excited when I get my period because I block these days off on my calendar and I take care of myself. I get a massage, I rest, I spend time in nature, I let myself sleep in a little. Honoring my energy doesn’t mean sacrificing money, clients, or relationships. Instead it allows me to show up as the best possible Coach, friend, partner I can be and that has made all the difference.
